Short version: the CrawlTally WordPress plugin runs entirely on your server. By default nothing leaves your site. If you explicitly opt in to cloud features, only aggregated counters are sent — never visitor IPs, full URLs, or page content.

01What the plugin stores locally

No full visitor IP addresses are stored (truncated hashes only, for de-duplication). No personal data of your visitors is collected by the plugin.

02What is sent if you opt in to Cloud

Off by default. When enabled, your site sends once per day: your site domain, bot IDs, path sections, and hit counts. License activation sends your license key and domain. Weekly report emails are sent to the address you enter. You can disconnect at any time; local tracking keeps working.

03Purchases

Payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. We receive your email address and order reference for license delivery; card data never touches our servers.

04Search-engine checks

If you submit index/citation checks, the queried terms (your domain/paths) are sent to a search provider (such as Bing/DuckDuckGo/Serper) to perform the check, and the result is stored for your dashboard.

05Your rights

Email [email protected] to request deletion of your site data or license records. Data of disconnected sites is removed within 30 days.
